3 Ingredient Chocolate Banana Ice Cream



Ah ice cream! One of life’s decadent, guilty summertime pleasures. Or is it?


This chocolate banana ice cream is non dairy and a dead ringer for the real deal.


The best part is that it only requires 3 Ingredients and they are all super healthy!


The best part is that you can enjoy it right out of the blender as soft serve, or you can freeze it till it’s firm enough to scoop into ice cream cones.


CHOCOLATE BANANA ICE CREAM


Ingredients:


3 bananas, peeled, sliced into

Chunks and frozen.


1-2 scoops of your favorite chocolate protein powder ( I used vital proteins collagen peptides).


1/3 cup nut milk of your choice.


Optional- 2 T nut butter.


Strawberries, cacao nibs, flaked coconut or almond whipped cream to top.


Directions:


Combine banana chunks, protein powder, milk and nut butter (if using) in a high powered blender.

Blend on high speed and scraping down sides if needed.

Either eat right away or freeze for 2 hours to firm for scooping.

Top as desired.


Enjoy!!


NOTE: This is such a great way to utilize bananas when they get too ripe! Just peel, slice and throw them in a bag into the freezer. That way you always have frozen bananas handy for ice cream or smoothies.
