šŸ„ÆIntroducing a gluten-free, no-added-sugar flax English muffin! Packed with fiber, protein, heart-healthy omega-3s, and antioxidant-rich lignans, this wholesome delight tastes like a traditional English muffin.


This is truly a perfect zero carb bread option!

Enjoy as your morning muffin or your lunchtime sandwich (think chicken or tuna avocado salad) or as a zero carb bun option for your dinner time burger!


Top with a little of your favorite šŸ„œ nut butter and a serve with a side of cottage cheese to get about 30 grams of Whole Foods protein and 10 grams of fiber to begin your on a healthy, well filed note!

Flax English Muffin (gluten free & no added sugar)

INGREDIENTSĀ 

* 1 Egg

* 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

* Ā¼ cup Flaxseed Meal

* Ā½ -3/4 teaspoon Baking Powder

* 2 teaspoons unsweetened organic Applesauce (this doesnā€™t make it taste sweet, just balanced the flavor)

INSTRUCTIONS

* Combine all ingredients in bowl

* Spay a shallow bowl where the bottom is about the size of an English muffin with avocado spay

* Transfer batter to sprayed bowl.

* Microwave on high for 1 minute 30 seconds.Ā 

OR baken@350 degrees for 12-15 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

* Wait 1 minute to cool

* Slice in half to form your English muffin, bread
