Healthy Banana Split Breakfast


This healthy banana split is breakfast appropriate and dinner dessert worthy too!

Healthy ingredients. No refined sugar.

Just be selective about your yogurt and sure to choose a low or no sugar one.


It’s gut friendly with yogurt probiotics and full of super food antioxidants thanks to the cacao, pumpkin seeds and chia!


It’s really a powerhouse of nutrition all the way around!


This deliciousness is a guilty indulgence without the guilt!




Healthy Banana Split

Ingredients

* ¼ cup nut butter

* 1 tablespoon cacao powder

* 3 tablespoons water

* 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup, divided

* ¼ cup heavy cream

* 4 ripe bananas, peeled and halved lengthwise

* 2 cups low or no sugar vanilla yogurt

* 2!tablespoon shelled unsalted roasted pistachios

* 1 tablespoon unsalted pepitas (pumpkin seeds)

* 1 tablespoons chia seeds (to taste)

* 1 tablespoons flaxseed (to taste)

* Raspberries to top


Directions

1. Whisk nut butter, cacao powder, water and 1 tablespoon maple syrup in a small bowl until smooth.


2. Add the cream and the remaining 1 tablespoon maple syrup in a small deep measuring cup. Using an immersion blender, blend until soft peaks form.


3. Arrange 2 banana halves on each of 4 plates. Add a scoop of the yogurt among the bananas. Drizzle the nut sauce over the yogurt. Divide pistachios, pepitas, chia and flaxseed among the banana splits. Top with the whipped cream and a little more nut drizzle. Top with a raspberry!
